Citizen Petition and Civil Society Sign-on Letter to the USDA

Dear Secretary Rollins,

We, the undersigned, call on USDA to align policies and funding priorities with the promises outlined in the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Initiative and Commission report by supporting programs that deliver local, healthy food to communities while safeguarding farmers, families, and the land itself.

Vitamin C is often praised for its immune support, but accumulating scientific evidence points to deeper, systemic roles: reducing cancer risk, protecting cellular integrity, and helping balance hormones. However, not all sources of vitamin C are equivalent. The difference between synthetic, isolated forms and whole-food or herbal complexes matter.

Many people turn to fortified foods and multivitamins hoping to improve their health, but what if those very products are quietly doing more harm than good?

Fortified cereals, prenatal vitamins, and multivitamins may seem like an easy way to “cover your bases,” but here’s the problem: these nutrients are almost always synthetic, lab-made isolates. Even if the label says “organic,” any nutrient that’s been added in isolation is not how it exists in nature.

Moms Across America, one of the leading MAHA groups, releases new glyphosate test results for USA, UK, France, and German popular children’s cereals. The non-profit organization of mothers recently revealed lab results showing that 90% of American children’s cereals tested contained glyphosate residues.  Eager to find safer, cleaner sources, the group decided to commission testing for popular children’s cereals from Europe. Given that Europe is often seen as a global leader in food safety—restricting dyes, additives, and chemicals like BHT—the group anticipated lower glyphosate levels in their cereals.

Long before I became pregnant with my first son, I knew that I wanted to have a natural birth. But to be honest, at that time, I didn’t even really know why exactly. I assumed there were probably chemicals that wouldn’t be good for my baby or myself in the epidural, but that was about all I knew at that point. Once I became pregnant, I began talking with more moms about their birth experiences, and it quickly became clear just how important both the setting and the way you give birth truly are.

The long-awaited MAHA Commission Strategy Report was released today. The historic document is the primary focus of millions of parents with children with autism and autoimmune disease, health writers, and social media influencers worldwide.

• Majority of children’s cereals tested positive for chlormequat, a banned pesticide with severe health risks
• High levels of this banned pesticide have been linked to 不妊, 癌, Parkinson’s、そして other harms
• Lax regulations and loosened trade agreements allow dangerous chemicals in the U.S. food supply. Two cereal samples were positive for diquat そして parquat, banned in other countries but allowed in the USA
• General Mills Honey Nut Cheerios tops the list with 134.16 ppb of chlormequat

Eleven Ways The EPA Fails to Regulate Pesticides 

The draft of the MAHA Strategy report falls short of delivering what is needed to Make America Healthy Again - and the pesticide companies are celebrating.

While the report raises many excellent points and topics, such as its commitment to researching the "root cause" of autism, air and water quality, and improving data collection and analysis on vaccine injuries, the report's statement on pesticides is profoundly disappointing.  We are thrilled that this administration will create the task force groups - such as new working groups and research into health issues, including a task force focused on chronic disease.

It is common practice for pediatricians to recommend mothers give their child Tylenol when they have a fever, are teething, or even after vaccinations.  But is this over-the-counter medication actually as safe as we’re told it is?  

A new independent lab test, commissioned by the holistic food scanning app Olive, has found that several popular baby food products contain lead levels up to 257% higher than California's Prop 65 daily limit. This is the largest heavy metal screening of baby food to date, analyzing close to 300 products from major brands. Lead is a known neurotoxin, and there is no safe level of exposure, particularly for children. Even small amounts can permanently impact brain development, lower IQ, and increase risks for learning disabilities, attention issues, and behavioral problems.  While California’s Prop 65 law sets daily maximum intake limits, federal agencies like the FDA have still not established enforceable limits for heavy metals in most baby foods. This regulatory gap allows brands to continue selling contaminated products with no accountability.
