What is RESTORE?
RESTORE is a dietary supplement that supplies the first line of defense against gut dysfunction. It is our gut’s firewall of protection against infection, damage from environmental and food-borne toxins. RESTORE creates an optimal environment or ecology in the gut membrane for good gut bacteria to flourish. Good gut flora protects our immune system and maintains our health. RESTORE was developed by scientists trained at some of the most prestigious universities in the country, such as the University of Virginia, Duke University, and the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. What does RESTORE do?

Seventy percent (70%) of our immune system is found in our gut. We need tens of thousands of different strains of good gut bacteria to support a healthy immune system. A breakdown of our immune system can result in illness throughout the body. Will Restore help gluten sensitivity issues?
Yes, Restore will help gluten sensitivity issues! In university studies RESTORE blocks gluten’s effect on intestinal tissue and it even repairs the damage to those tissues. I have heard about “leaky gut.” What is it?
Great question! Think of it this way. A healthy gastrointestinal (GI) tract and the immune system is like the anti-virus protection you have on your computer and/or electronic device. A good anti-virus program prevents your computer’s IT system from crashing.
Similarly, RESTORE, taken daily, keeps the cells in the membranes of your gut “tight,” preventing toxins access into the bloodstream leading to every organ of the body. These are known as tight junctions. When the membranes of your gut or GI tract are not “tight,” then there is a “leaky gut.”

What are tight junctions?
To use an everyday description, a rock-solid football defensive line protects the opposing team from scoring any points because it has “tight junctions.” In our immune system, this same kind of tight junctions keeps things out of the bloodstream that should not be there and allow nutrients to enter the bloodstream.
There is a growing body of well-developed science that demonstrates that the tight junction barrier in the gut can be degraded with exposure to gluten and glyphosate (the main chemical in commercial herbicide), causing the intestinal membrane to become leaky. Tight junction degradation in the blood/brain barrier or other body membranes leads to the same leaky condition.
Why is Protection from glyphosate so important?
Numerous scientific studies show that glyphosate, the active ingredient in commercial herbicides, is implicated in a wide variety of systemic disorders including inflammatory bowel disease, obesity, depression, ADHD, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, multiple sclerosis, cancer, cachexia, infertility, and developmental malformations. Glyphosate works synergistically* with other factors, such as insufficient sun exposure, dietary deficiencies in critical nutrients such as sulfur and zinc, and synergistic exposure to other xenobiotics whose detoxification is impaired by glyphosate.
Glyphosate is a common herbicide used in both commercial agricultural purposes and residential purposes. Research by Stephanie Seneff at MIT links glyphosate’s suppression of proper gut bacteria functioning to all modern diseases including gut disorders (e.g. irritable bowel), autoimmune diseases, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, depression, autism, infertility, cancer, and Alzheimer’s disease. Glyphosate also degrades the gut wall and causes intestinal permeability (AKA leaky gut).
In fact, research by Biomic Sciences shows that glyphosate is 10 times more potent than gluten in its ability to degrade the tight junctions in the gut membrane wall and cause leaky gut. Thankfully, this bad news comes at a time where consumers have an option to help them recover and maintain their gut health. Biomic Sciences has recently shown that the supplement RESTORE can repair the gut damage caused by glyphosate, and can block additional damage.
*When something is synergistic, it means various parts are working together to produce an enhanced result.
How is RESTORE different from probiotic products
Simply taking probiotics to continuously address a complex health challenge actually leads to a lack of diversity in the gut, which can negatively impact your health. How is RESTORE different from probiotic products? RESTORE is unique in that it may enhance the diversity of the gut bacteria by making the gut environment more friendly to the growth of good gut bacteria. Optimally, a healthy immune system contains 20,000 – 30,000 different strains of good gut bacteria or flora and a typical probiotic is only comprised of between 3 to 30 different bacterial species.

Should I Take RESTORE if Pregnant?
As with any dietary supplement, if you are pregnant or nursing, consult a health care professional before using RESTORE.
What to do if I experience mild constipation when taking RESTORE
Zach Bush, MD advises, “When my patients first use RESTORE, some of them experience mild constipation. These patients are not drinking enough liquids. There is general scientific agreement that people should consume at least nine glasses of water or herbal teas a day. You may need to drink more water if you exercise and even more if you live in a hot and humid area of the country. If you feel RESTORE is causing constipation despite adequate hydration, I recommend my patients take Magnesium Malate, 1250 mg daily at bedtime for adults or half that dose for children. Also, you can decrease your daily dose of RESTORE in half until your stools return to normal with the above adjustments in hydration and magnesium intake for a couple of weeks, then increase back to recommended doses of RESTORE.
